Sponsor a child : Impact a family $35 a month

It’s common for children to end up living in orphanages because their parents (who are very much alive) believe that an orphanage is the only way for their child to get a good education. Our goal is to make it possible for children to attend school, receive much needed tutoring and relieve as much of the educational burden as possible from parents.

• Tuition and bus fare (secondary school).

• Kihavo Cobre (fake money) for attendance and achievements. They can use this money to buy toothpaste, pasta, clothes and more in our store.

• School Uniforms (including flip flops or sandals), supplies and backpacks.

• Physical Education Uniforms, including gym shoes

• Emergency Medical Assistance

How does Sponsorship work?

When you sponsor a child, you not only help them but also their family and village. Your monthly support gets combined with the support of other sponsors, which allows us to cover your child’s education expenses AND run a tutoring center. Sponsored children get first priority for tutoring slots but if we have extra space in a class, we open it up to the community. In turn, we get to know a few more children and when we see that they are dedicated to their studies, we put them on the waitlist for Sponsorship!

Each year, you can look forward to pictures and an update from your child. Throughout the year, you can see pictures of them on Facebook, Instagram or in our e-Newsletter.
